She has been embroiled in a ‘slut-shaming’ row with fellow Bachelor star Brittany Hockley for several days.

But on Sunday, Abbie Chatfield, 27, brushed off the feud and enjoyed a relaxing walk during a low-key holiday in Byron Bay.

Abbie showed off her cleavage and abs in a skimpy bikini top and tiny skirt as she took her pet pooch Wally for a stroll.

She completed her look with a white buttoned shirt and a pair of comfortable black sandals.

Makeup free, she showed off her flawless complexion and tied her brunette locks up into a bun atop her head.

Abbie picked up a delicious smooth and a pastry treat from a local store along the way.

At one point she was seen laying out on the grass with Wally to soak up the warm weather.

The sighting comes after Abbie and Brittany were embroiled in an epic Instagram row, after Abbie publicly accused her of ‘slut shaming’.

Abbie and Brittany’s falling out stems from a segment on The Kyle and Jackie O Show last month in which Brittany and co-host Kyle Sandilands supposedly made disrespectful remarks about Abbie’s love life while interviewing rapper Yung Gravy.

At the time, she was filling in for Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on the Sydney breakfast show.

During the November interview, Gravy, whose real name is Matthew Raymond Hauri, said on air he wanted to go on a date with Abbie, to which Kyle responded: ‘You and everyone else. Line up, my friend, line up!’

When Gravy said, ‘I think we’ve got a date planned,’ Brittany remarked: ‘I have no doubt.’

In the same segment, Kyle asked the Minnesota rapper if Abbie had sent him nudes, and Brittany asked if they’d ‘sexted’ each other.

Although the interview happened a month ago, an enraged Abbie reacted to it on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast It’s A Lot, accusing the pair of spreading ‘misogynistic rhetoric’ about her.

While Kyle was the one leading the conversation, Abbie said Brittany was complicit in his ‘misogyny’ by refusing to speak up.

‘The issue that I think people like Kyle and Brittany have with me is that I’m able to speak about sexuality in a way that isn’t shameful, and they think that that must equate to f**king around, having sex every single day,’ she said.

‘When actually, it’s just that I don’t have the shame that they have, and therefore they’re projecting it onto me,’ she added.

‘Say what you want about me, but do not perpetuate slut-shaming bulls**t on the biggest radio show in the country.’

She also shared a lengthy post about the incident on Instagram, saying she was ‘incredibly disappointed to hear Kyle and Brittany slut-shame me’.

Britt posted a statement on Instagram on Wednesday in which she apologised for her involvement in the ‘misogynistic’ jokes, and insisted she had always been an advocate for female empowerment.

‘I want to apologise for the undercurrent misogynistic tones that the interview had,’ she began.

‘The nature of live radio is unpredictable and often unplanned, which was the case with the direction that this conversation took. Live on radio I found myself in a position where Abbie and I were pitted against each other.’

Brittany said she had never intended to offend Abbie and blamed the gaffe on the unpredictable nature of live radio.

‘This was not planned, and this was not something I felt comfortable with and I thought by saying as little as possible in the interview it would not add any fire to the situation. I see with hindsight that this was naïve and contradictory to what I stand for,’ she said.

Brittany, who co-hosts the progressive, female-led podcast Life Uncut, assured her fans she had never meant to ‘make anyone feel shameful’ about enjoying sex.

‘As a woman who has championed female empowerment, relationship equality and sexual freedom over the past four years, I am deeply apologetic that this happened,’ she wrote.

Brittany also addressed rumours she had ignored an Instagram message from Abbie nine days ago in which she asked her privately about the Yung Gravy segment.

‘I was never notified that Abbie had reached out to me as I had muted notifications [on Instagram], given the overwhelming volume [of messages] I receive each day. I have since reached out,’ she wrote.

Brittany concluded by again expressing her regret over what happened, writing: ‘I acknowledge that the standard you walk by is the standard you accept.

‘I will learn from this and do better in the future. I am sorry.’

The feud deepened a day later when Abbie publicly rejected this apology.

She didn’t buy the excuse that mistakes are made on live radio and that Brittany had tried to limit her contributions during the interview as soon as Abbie was mentioned.

The former Bachelor in Paradise star also scolded Brittany for not standing up to Kyle when he said Gravy would need to ‘line up’ if he wanted to date Abbie.

‘Live radio is hard, but if I say something off on air, I message the person immediately. But you didn’t, showing you didn’t feel shameful after doing this. You only realised the very clear issue after I called you out,’ she wrote.

‘Also, you didn’t say as little as possible. You added commentary. You weren’t silent. You asked if we had sexted after Kyle asked if I had sent nudes. You brought me up two more times in total [during the Yung Gravy interview].

‘Don’t blame the segment and live radio. Again, if you can’t hold your own in that environment, maybe it isn’t for you.’

Abbie went on to say she ‘wasn’t shocked’ by Brittany’s remarks in light of their time together on the dating show Bachelor in Paradise in 2020.
