Amy Childs has confirmed her boyfriend Billy De Bosq is joining TOWIE as a full time cast member.

The reality star, 32, who is currently pregnant with her and Billy’s twins, revealed she’s ‘really looking forward’ to having her partner film with her, adding that TOWIE bosses were keen to have him join the show.

Speaking in her OK! column, Amy also teased whether the birth of her twins will be showed on the ITVBe series as she remarked she was in talks with producers.

Speaking about the show’s newest cast member, Amy explained: ‘TOWIE’s a massive part of my life and Bill will be on it as a full time cast member, which they want him to be.

‘We start filming for the new series in two or three weeks time. ‘I think we’ll be doing Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and I’ll be around 27 weeks then – so it’ll be tough for me.’

She added that she was ‘looking forward’ to filming and is ‘excited to be back’ because she ‘loves’ what she does.

On whether the cameras will be allowed in for the upcoming birth, the star teased: ‘There’s a few talks here and there about filming the run-up to my birth, but I’m not sure yet. I don’t want to commit to anything that might not be possible, but that’s all I can probably say for the minute…’

Meanwhile on Saturday, Amy – who’s expecting a boy and a girl – took to Instagram to give an update on her pregnancy, where she revealed that she was almost at the 25 week mark. 

Alongside a snap of her growing baby bump, the reality star wrote: ‘I’ve had a day indoors today and very much needed it! Kids are climbing the walls, just some days just need a day indoors.

’25 weeks in a few days and bloody feel massive.’

It comes as Lauren Goodger has reportedly been approached to return to The Only Way Is Essex as bosses try and woo her back to the show that made her famous.

The reality star, 36, was one of the original cast members of the show, joining in series one and leaving after series six, with her last appearance in 2016.

According to The Sun, bosses have been in talks with Lauren about a potential return which they think would thrill longtime fans of the show.

A source said: ‘Towie are always in talks with former cast mates with a view to bringing them back and Lauren is top of their wish list.

The insider added that while the show always adds new cast members, TOWIE’s original stars ‘bring a lot of buzz’ and they’re a way to ‘bring back lapsed viewers’.
