Christian Wilkins and Brooke Boney lead the celebrity arrivals at the 36th annual ARIA Awards in Sydney

The 36th annual ARIA Awards are well underway at Sydney‘s Hordern Pavilion.

The biggest names in Australian music and entertainment stepped out in style for the ceremony on Thursday, with Brooke Boney leading the star-studded pack.

The Today show reporter kept things cool and understated by donning a slinky charcoal grey dress that clung to her figure.

Her was styled in a simple pony, which she wore over one shoulder, and her makeup and jewellery were both on the minimal side. 

It was a far cry from socialite Christian Wilkins, who did his best to steal the show in one of his typically flamboyant ensembles.

The reality star bared his torso in an open floral blazer and added even more sparkle to the look with a pair of sequinned pants.

The Weekend Today co-host opted for a traditionally tailored suit with an open collar and crisp white shirt, but did add a touch of flair with an oversized flower broach.
