Claire Sweeney showcased her incredible figure as she attended Sister Act! The Musical’s star-studded press night at London’s Hammersmith Eventim Apollo on Wednesday evening.

The actress, 51, turned heads in a bright pink jumpsuit complete with racy keyhole detail at the bust.

The ensemble was belted at Claire’s svelte waist as the striking colour accentuated her sun kissed skin.

Opting for a glamorous palette of make-up Claire added extra drama to the look with a smoky eye and blush lip.

Styling her blonde locks into a chic bob the star accessorised with gold hoop earrings and a simple bracelet.

Carrying the colour story into her accessories she strutted her stuff in gold platform heels as she toted an oversized clutch.

Based on the 1992 comedy starring Whoopi Goldberg the musical stars R&B diva Beverley Knight as lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier, an unassuming woman who witnesses a murder and is forced to take on the guise of a convent nun when she is subsequently hunted by mobsters. 

Beverley was joined by Jennifer Saunders, Keala Settle and Lesley Joseph as they brought the popular film to the stage. 

It comes after Claire took to the All Stars Cabaret stage in racy outfits after admitting she would have been ‘so self conscious of her figure’ if she’d appeared in the show when she was younger.

The former Brookside actress said she’s ‘absolutely loving’ taking a lead role in the raunchy burlesque show and has learned to ‘cares less’ about what others think.

Speaking to MailOnline at the TRIC Awards last month, she declared now is the perfect time to take the plunge since she would have ‘compared herself to all the beautiful dancers’ in previous years.

She said: ‘I’m absolutely loving it, it’s a fantastic show, it’s the perfect night out, you have dinner, you sit and watch the show.

‘It’s just the most phenomenal talent, I feel very proud to be a part of it. I’m in my element, absolutely in my element.’

Speaking about embracing her sexuality in a series of revealing outfits on-stage, the star said: ‘You get more sass as you get older and you kind of care less.

‘I would have been, before, so self conscious of my figure, my body, comparing myself to all the beautiful young dancers.’

The mum-of-one concluded: ‘Now I go, ‘There’s only one of me, who cares?”
