The Rak-Su singer, 31, told in social media posts on Friday that he has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy as he shared a snap of monitors on his chest.

‘So I have yearly check-ups. This is all very new to me as well so I am still working out what I need to do and how I have to carry myself now with regards to my heart and how much exercise I can do and stuff like that.’

The singer went on to say he had a fitness test too but it was cut short because his blood pressure is ‘dangerously high’.

But he was quick to reassure his fans, insisting: ‘I am all good, not to worry, it’s very new to me, I am trying to understand what is going on.’

It comes after last month Myles revealed he was forced to rush his 16-month-old son Shiloh to hospital with suspected hypothermia.

The X Factor winner, who only revealed he had become a father earlier this year, said that he and his girlfriend were left terrified by the incident.

Speaking to The Sun he said: ‘We had a bit of a scare yesterday. We had to take him [Shiloh] to A&E because he’d had his jabs and he started showing all the signs for hypothermia.

Before adding: ‘We took him to hospital last night but he’s all good now thankfully.’

The former I’m A Celeb campmate went on to praise his girlfriend, saying: ‘I already knew already but then seeing my Mrs with Shiloh is amazing and he honestly adores her.’

Myles announced Shiloh’s arrival earlier this year in a sweet Instagram snap of himself holding the tot in his arms at an event.

Alongside the post, he wrote: ‘Like father like son. Shiloh Stephenson, my biggest blessing in a little person. My mini me.’

Myles was inundated with comments from his celebrity pals including James Haskell who commented ‘Cutie’.

The star’s fellow I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Andy Whyment commented: ‘He’s so cute bro’.

What is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy?

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a condition where the heart muscle becomes thickened.

Around one in 5,000 people have the condition, and it most commonly develops during the teenage years or young adulthood.

However, the symptoms vary depending on the severity.

These include shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitations, dizziness and fainting attacks – most commonly during exercise.

It can cause the heart muscle to become stiff, which means your left ventricle doesn’t fill as easily as normal and less blood is then pumped out.

It can also partially obstruct blood flow, which can make small blood clots more likely.
