Georgia Harrison slams jailed Stephen Bear for 'fooling' her into loving him

Georgia Harrison has condemned former boyfriend Stephen Bear for profiting from their sex life after sharing and selling secretly filmed footage online. 

The disgraced former TV personality is currently serving a 21-month prison sentence for voyeurism and two counts of ‘revenge porn’ after uploading footage of the pair having sex to his subscription based OnlyFans account, without her consent. 

The illicit filming took place at Bear’s home in Loughton, Essex, in 2020. It was CCTV footage taken in his garden. 

Appearing on Thursday’s edition of This Morning, Harrison, 28, admitted she was fooled into thinking the Celebrity Big Brother winner was in love with her before discovering he had contrived to use their sex life for financial gain. 

‘Psychologically, it affects your self-worth,’ she told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. 

‘You think you’re in love and the whole time they were just having sex with you for monetary value, to sell on the internet.’ 

Harrison previously claimed the stress caused by Bear’s decision to publish the explicit footage almost killed her after she developed a cyst on her ovary while overseas in Dubai. 

Addressing the impact it had on her physical and mental health on Thursday, the former Love Island contestant admitted she was in ‘a state of grief.’ 

‘I was at home, drinking too much, hospitalised because of a cyst on my ovary,’ she explained. 

‘Psychically I deteriorated. People don’t realise it was two-and-a-half years. Two years ago sitting here I would be a mess.’ 

Bear’s sentence, imposed at Chelmsford Crown Court on March 3, served as a precedent of sorts, but Harrison – who waived her right to anonymity during the trial – admits she was stunned by how difficult it was get a revenge porn conviction over the line. 

She added: ‘I didn’t comprehend how much was on the line until now, if he had been found not guilty. I would have been cancelled because everyone would have thought I was part of that video.’ 

It was revealed last week that Bear was left a ‘broken man’, and had been ‘crying for days’ and is on suicide watch, with a source saying that he never imagined he would be jailed. 

A source close to Bear said he was ‘completely unprepared’ for being behind bars, believing he would have been spared a prison sentence if convicted. It is claimed he is now on a plan for prisoners who are at risk of self-harm or suicide, which includes regular cell checks and a buddy system. 

‘He is at his lowest ebb and has been crying for days. He never expected he would be jailed and is completely unprepared,’ the insider told The Sun.

‘Whatever anyone thinks about him, right now he is a broken man and feels awful for putting his family through this.

‘His family members are very concerned for his well-being. It’s hard for them to see him suffer like this alone.

‘It’s been a very difficult situation for Stephen’s loved ones. There is a lot of hatred being aimed towards Stephen and those close to him but they will continue to support him as he finishes his sentence.’

Harrison recently revealed that the stress of the ordeal she was put through nearly killed her.

Speaking to The Sun, Harrison said she was ‘thriving’ prior to seeing the CCTV footage circulating online but her career was then ‘damaged.’ 

She said she developed a cyst in her ovary when she was in Dubai, which she claimed can happen to women when they are ‘stressed out’.

‘I wanted to honestly keep leaving it without going to get some help,’ Ms Harrison, who also appeared on The Only Way is Essex, said.

‘My mum said to me… “I know something isn’t right… get up and go to the hospital now”.’ 

Harrison added: ‘As I was in the car, I just started shaking and shivering and what I didn’t realise was I was going into shock and when I got to the hospital, they said that my kidneys, my pelvis and multiple of my organs were infected.

‘I was actually going into septic shock and had I stayed at home one more evening I would have died.’

An ovarian cyst, which are fluid-filled sacs, are common in women and do not usually cause any symptoms, according to the NHS.

Harrison only discovered the footage when she logged on to Bear’s OnlyFans to find a screenshot of him on top of her.

She said: ‘He put the caption as something along the lines of: “Sign up now for 50 per cent off to see me f***ing this b**** in my garden”.

‘It made me feel so violated. All I’ve ever done was be good to him as a friend and as more.’

The stress of the discovery caused Harrison’s hair to fall out on top of the cyst and septic shock, she said.

She now plans to sue Bear for ruining her career and spoke of the moment she first discovered the footage was being sold online.

She added: ‘People don’t realise how much this damaged my career. I’ve gone through two years of being dropped by every brand who ever worked with me.

‘My career was thriving prior to it.’

Harrison will recall her horror in greater detail in her ITV2 documentary, for which first trailer was released this week.

The show, which will air at 10pm on March 20, will see Harrison meet fellow victims of revenge porn as she attempts to process her experience.

She said the documentary will include voice notes and conversations with Bear in which he denies it was her in the video, as well as denying he had shared it.
