One video featured on her page showed her running along a pool table as a young girl and jumping into her famous father’s arms as he doted on her.

‘I love you Dad. I will always remember us this way, laughing and happy. One year today. Feels like yesterday you were taken but forever since I’ve seen you,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘1 year ago, one of the people that I love most in the whole entire world left and went to heaven. My beautiful dad,’ she wrote.

‘I miss you just about every second of every day. I’m still trying to navigate life without you here, trying my best to live in a world without you in it.’

Summer continued: ‘I miss you when I laugh and cry because you were always the one that made my laughter grow, and my tears disappear. I miss the memories we will never get to have. I hold you close within my heart, and there you you shall remain, until the day that we meet again.’

She also shared Jackson and Simone’s videos to her story and keeps three posts about her father pinned to her Instagram account at all times as a tribute to him.

Warne’s death caused shockwaves around the globe, triggering a massive outpouring of grief and love, which still resonates profoundly today.

Warne died of a heart attack on March 4, 2022, while on a boys’ holiday on the island of Koh Samui.

He became a global star in 1993 by bowling out Mike Gatting with the so-called ‘Ball of the Century’ – his first ball in Ashes cricket.

The spin bowler went on to get 708 test wickets, tormenting teams all over the world, especially Australia’s great rival England.

A SNAPSHOT OF GREATNESS

Widely regarded as one of cricket’s greatest bowlers in history, Warne was selected as one of five Wisden Cricketers of the Century in 2000 by a panel of cricket experts.

He was the only specialist bowler and the only one who was still playing at the time.

Warne made his Test debut in 1992 and went on to take over 1,000 wickets in Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs).

Until 2007, his record of 708 Test wickets was the highest number of wickets taken by any bowler in Test cricket.

He was also named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in the 1994 Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack and was the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World in both 1997 and 2004.
