Owen Warner was picked to take on the iconic Bushtucker Bonanza eating trial during the final episode of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
The Hollyoaks actor, 23, had to eat five different sickening jungle offerings in order to bag a dream meal with his fellow campmates later in the evening.
Owen, who has become known for his love of food in camp, even hilariously referred to a fermented egg as ‘decent’ during the stomach-churning trial.
Hungry: Owen Warner was picked to take on the iconic Bushtucker Bonanza eating trial during the final episode of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here
As he arrived at the trial clearing, Ant said: ‘This is the Bushtucker Bonanza. It’s the eating Trial. You’re going to be presented with five dishes, you must eat the dish as instructed in order to win the five stars on offer.
‘The first three stars are for your three main courses. The fourth is for your drink and the fifth is for your treat.’
Dec said: ‘You can pass on a dish if you don’t like the look of it.’
Owen then joked: ‘Never pass on a dish in my life!’
Gross: The Hollyoaks actor, 23, had to eat five different sickening jungle offerings in order to bag a dream meal with his fellow campmates later in the evening
After shockingly enjoying the egg, Owen then ate a camel’s testicle and the camel’s eye admitting, ‘That’s not as good.’
Matt encouraged him: ‘Go on, Owen!’
Owen said: ‘This is probably the most full I’ve felt in the jungle so far!’
After his challenge, viewers were quick to take to Twitter to comment on his performance in the trial, saying he should ‘win’ for powering through the stomach-churning trial.
Amused: Owen, who has become known for his love of food in camp, even hilariously referred to a fermented egg as ‘decent’ during the stomach-churning trial
One viewer wrote: ‘Owen needs to win I’m A Celeb for this trial alone, what a machine.’
Another commented: ‘Owen on this eating trail on I’m a celeb is something else,’ while a third added: ‘”It’s like a crisp, I love Owen.’
Owen arrived at the Bushtucker Trial alongside Jill Scott and Matt Hancock, who were at hand to cheer him on and also take part in their own challenges.
After they arrived, Dec said: ‘Congratulations on making it to the final.’
Bravo! After his challenge, viewers took to Twitter to comment on his performance in the trial, saying he should ‘win’ for powering through the stomach-churning trial
Not nice! After shockingly enjoying the egg, Owen then ate a camel’s testicle and the camel’s eye admitting, ‘That’s not as good’
When asked how she was feeling, Jill said: ‘Just in shock to be honest. I can’t believe we’re in the final, I’ve watched it since being a little kid. I’m still in shock to be honest.’
Owen said: ‘It feels a little bit mad to be honest.’
Matt said: ‘I can’t believe it. I’m just delighted. I’m very grateful.’
Dec said: ‘You’re all here for one last Bushtucker Trial.’
Oh no! Jill was then forced to face her fear of rats as she took on the Rat Race challenge, having to free stars with her tongue
Ant explained: ‘You each have to take on a classic Bushtucker Trial. Up for grabs are starters, main courses and desserts of your choice, fully prepared and delivered into camp for you tonight. How does that sound?
‘Also up for grabs are drinks and treats of your choice. But for the first time ever you each get to watch each other take on the final Trial of the series. Jill, you will be going first.’
Dec told Jill: ‘This is Rat Race.’
Jill admitted: ‘Oh my god, I hate rats.’
Challenge: Jill was only allowed to use her mouth to secure the stars as cockroaches and mealworms rained down on her and rats crawled across her
Dec told her: ‘You will lay in this box and release the stars using only your mouth. Each star you get off the thread is another star won. There are five stars up for grabs, which will each be added to the box one at a time. You’ve got 10 minutes to complete the Trial. And be prepared as there may be some jungle surprises along the way.’
Jill replied: ‘Along with the rats? Oh brilliant, thanks.’
Ant added: ‘First three stars are each worth a starter for you and your campmates tonight. The fourth is your drink and the fifth is the drink of your choice.’
As the Trial got underway, cockroaches and mealworms were added.
Tricky: After securing all the stars in the trial to get herself and her fellow finalists their starters, drinks and treats, Jill admitted it was ‘horrible’ as she spoke about facing her fears
Jill said: ‘I hate rats! I’m trying to think of my little hamster that I used to have.’
Matt encouraged: ‘You’re smashing this Jill, you’re smashing this.’
Jill said: ‘That was horrible. My eyes are actually watering. I have definitely faced my fears. Just so happy it got us a starter.’
Matt’s Trial was called Flood Your Face.
Horrid: Matt’s Trial was called Flood Your Face and saw him submerged in water with creepy crawlies
Insects: As Matt sat through the various critters being added around his face – including eels, yabbies and water spiders – Jill encouraged: ‘Well in Matt, you’re doing great’
Dec explained: ‘You’ll sit in here with your head in the tank which will fill with water. You’ll have a snorkel to breathe through and you’ll stay in there for five minutes.
‘You’ll win a star for each minute you endure. It’s pretty straightforward, apart from the fact that this is a Bushtucker Trial so there will be some surprises along the way in that five minutes.’
Ant said: ‘The first three stars are for your three desserts, the fourth is for your drink and the fifth is for your treat.’

They got all of the stars and went back to camp ready for their feast.
