The series has seen Alfie try a variation of foods and have breakthroughs with things such as pasta with pesto and halloumi.

But not everything has gone down such a treat, as he wasn’t a fan of a McDonalds burger, or Dairylea cheese triangles.

In her most recent video, Maisi got her boyfriend a single cheeseburger from McDonalds, taking out all of the ingredients other than the meat, cheese and ketchup.

‘I am so nervous, when we first started doing these videos I always said the big one would be a burger. I’ve always wanted to eat a burger, it looks cathartic, there’s a certain romance to eating a burger which I have never experienced,’ explained Alfie.

Maisi watched on nervously as he took a bite and had some hope as she said: ‘You’re chewing, chewing is good,’ but quickly changed her tune as he turned away from the camera to spit the burger out.

‘OK guys, I think you will have seen, that’s probably a no,’ she told viewers.

But all wasn’t lost, as Aflie then tried another bite with more ketchup and managed to swallow it this time, with the pair making progress.

Speaking out on his struggles, Maisi has previously explained: ‘It’s something he’s struggled with all his life and has been really tricky. I think picky would be putting it lightly.’
