Katie Maloney slams ex Tom Schwartz's rumored love interest Jo Wenberg: 'I will light her on fire'

Katie Maloney shared her two cents about ex husband Tom Schwartz’s live-in friend Jo Wenberg on Friday.

The 36-year-old Vanderpump Rules star dropped in on Instagram fan account @realvanderpump to leave a telling comment about the hairstylist.

On a post theorizing that Schwartz, 40, hooked up with Raquel Leviss, 28, to hide a romance with Jo, and to cover up Raquel’s affair with Tom Sandoval, Maloney held nothing back.

She began her statement by writing, ‘Jo is spooky. I mean none of us could stand to be around her.’

Katie continued ripping into Jo, who Tom denies being romantically involved with, as she added, ‘Her energy is on par with a crackhead.’

The scathing comment revealed what Jo said to comfort Katie last year after announcing her split from Schwartz.

Maloney wrote, ‘When Tom and I announced our divorce almost a year ago the last thing she text me was “Bieber loves you / I love you, and I’m so supporting of your inner thoughts and visions / live in the moment, you’re a gem and I’ve always respected you. I love you. Xo Jo.”‘

Concluding her thoughts, Katie said: ‘She is a psycho and I will also light her on fire with Rachel.’

The bit about lighting ‘her on fire’ piggybacks off a comment Katie had made earlier in the week while appearing on Watch What Happens Live.

When host Andy Cohen asked what would be her reaction if she found out that Schwartz knew about Raquel and Tom hooking up but lied to protect Sandoval, she replied: ‘I would light him on fire.’ 

The post where Katie left her comment included a series of photos and videos along with a speculative caption that posed the questions, ‘Could it have been a double cover??? Schwartz and Raquel dating was a cover because Sandoval and Raquel were actually dating… while also Schwartz and Jo were dating? Allowing their double dates to go unnoticed?!!!’

Tom has denied being romantically involved with Jo, telling UsWeekly last month, ‘I just got out of a 12-year relationship. I cannot be in a committed — I can’t dive back into another relationship.’

‘We’re not living together and we’re not dating either, but she’s just someone who I appreciate on a deep level and she’s a really cool human being, and we’re just hanging out,’ he said at the time.

It later came out in a deleted season 10 Vanderpump Rules scene that Tom is, in fact, living with Wenberg.

Katie also revealed that she wasn’t shocked about Sandoval’s affair with Leviss on Wednesday’s episode of WWHL on Bravo.

‘I wasn’t shocked,’ Katie said. ‘But the details were shocking. I wasn’t shocked that it was Raquel.’

Andy, 54, started the show by making it clear that the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules was not edited again after the news came out about the affair.

‘It was at it happened,’ Andy said. ‘The interviews that you did in tonight’s episode were before you found out about Tom [Sandoval] and Raquel’s affair. Especially this comment. You said, ”I’m starting to see a pattern in Raquel. It seems she is only interested in men that her friends are either married to or interested in, and that is a big red flag for me.’

Andy asked Katie if anything else in this episode blew her mind, given what she knows now.

‘Just her coming at Lala [Kent] calling her a mistress, I mean just the level of …stupidity,’ Katie said.

Andy said the Lake Havasu trip took place in the first week of August and asked Katie if she thought Raquel and Sandoval were having an affair at that time.

‘That’s the question on everybody’s mind,’ Katie said. ‘I think perhaps, maybe, or soon after.’

Andy pointed out that Sandoval was wearing his lightning bolt necklace in the episode. Katie said that Sandoval always had that necklace and said she believed Raquel wearing one was ‘fan’ behavior.

‘She wants to emulate what he does,’ Katie said.

Andy also asked how Sandoval’s former girlfriend Ariana Madix, 37, was doing.

‘All things considered, she’s in a really good headspace. She’s taking care of herself. I saw her yesterday and we’re excited. She’s excited,’ Katie said.

Andy asked her if she knew how the affair started.

‘I’ve heard a bit of the origin story,’ Katie said. ‘Maybe we talk about it on the reunion.’

Andy said that they were all at that Sandoval show at Bravo Con.

‘I wasn’t,’ Katie said. ‘I actively avoided seeing that show.’

‘I was there, I was down there on the floor with Ariana on one side of me and Raquel on the other side. So by all accounts the affair was going on during that time, that was mid-October,’ Andy said.

‘Oh, by that time for sure,’ Katie said.

Andy then asked Katie if she thought that her ex, Schwartz, 40, was just a pawn in all of this.

‘Yeah, part of me believes that he was duped,’ Katie said.
