Kris Jenner shares her Christmas party planning tips as she makes gifts for Kim, Khloe and Kourtney

Kris Jenner revealed her Christmas party planning tips while talking up her favorite time of the year. 

Jenner, 67, sat down with InStyle magazine to share some secrets about how to be a ‘holiday expert.’ She also talked choosing meaningful and personalized gifts.

Jenner is known for her annual Christmas Eve bash in Hidden Hills, California which in recent years has been taken over by her daughters who have taken turns hosting. 

Kris shared some of her secrets for how to plan the perfect festive gathering during this wonderful time of year.

‘Planning a party is never a simple task. Before doing anything, I always want to sit down and figure out what the theme is, what dress code we want, and how to make it fun for my kids and grandkids,’ she said.

‘With these simple steps, you can guarantee you’ll have a spectacular holiday party no matter what.’

Jenner also commented on why the holiday season is her favorite. 

‘I always look forward to spending time with my family and creating special memories during this time of year,’ she said.

‘With all of our busy schedules, it’s nice to find time and spend it together as a family,’ added the star whose kids all have their own side businesses: Kim has SKIMS, Kourtney has POOSH, Khloe has Good American, Kendall has 818 and Kylie has her cosmetics company.

The KarJenner clan is known for their festive holiday traditions like their lavish Christmas Eve party, ornate decorations, holiday cards, and over-the-top family gifts.

Discussing her outlook on gift-giving, she prefers gifts that are personalized and meaningful. 

‘I always try to avoid generic gift giving. I want to make sure each and every person in my life feels special,’ said Kris.

Earlier this week, Kris shared her very first Christmas card with her boyfriend of over eight years, 42-year-old Corey Gamble.

‘Happy holidays, xoxo Kris and Corey,’ read the card that had gold writing.

Gamble had on a green sweater and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians producer was seen in a red, white and black plaid blazer as they were side by side in an image to promote Shutterfly.

Jenner partnered with Shutterfly for their new campaign called Win The Holidays. 

The mother-of-six cited Shutterfly as one of her favorite gift-giving hubs to make personalized family gifts.

She added, ‘Customizable gift ideas won’t disappoint and will even give you extra time to enjoy this season — something I value a lot.’ 

If you have been keeping up with Kris at all them you would know that she loves family memories and meaningful gifts and has even broke down in tears on their show over such meaningful moments.

Kris has  also revealed her favorite personalized and custom holiday card picks including the Glowing Giftwrap Holiday Card, the Speckled Thick Holiday Card and the Scripted Spirit Holiday Card.

It is not known if the family is posing together for a card this year.

In 2020 Kim looked back at all the family cards.

‘Since we didn’t do a Christmas card this year, I thought I would flashback to some,’ the star wrote two years ago. ‘I hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday.’  

The images were from her childhood up until 2019.

In a heart-melting photo, Kim and her four children, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one, all wore matching grey sweatpants.

They were nestled together on a staircase with doting dad Kanye West. 

Among the dozens of other adorable snaps, Kim shared sweet images, which included her mother Kris, and siblings Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.

Additionally, her late father, Robert, and ex-stepfather Caitlyn Jenner were present in many of the photos. 

Over the years they’ve opted for more informal attire, a sharp transition from past cards, like in 2011 when they sported black-tie and Khloé was still married to Lamar Odom. 

Kim’s throwbacks were also brimming with memories that included her eldest sister’s ex Scott Disick, who is the father of Kourtney three children.    

Other cute standouts included their 2006 family portrait of all the siblings in jeans and white shirts, next to Kris and her ex-husband. 

In 2007, when they made their reality TV debut, they posed for a black and white shot, which included the message: ‘Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.’

A year later, the girls wore red gowns, while Rob and then-Bruce wore tuxedos.  

In 2010, the Kardashian-Jenner clan rocked demure and dark colors, apart from Kim, who wore a white Emilio Pucci dress. 

Unlike her sisters in dresses, Kourtney matched her then-boyfriend, Scott, in a black pantsuit, as she held onto her firstborn Mason’s hand.   

Two years later, Penelope Disick made her debut on the 2012 card, which showed the family wearing white and throwing confetti.

While Rob appeared to be serving as the family’s DJ, Kris held onto a drink and Khloé cozied up to her then-husband in a skintight white dress. 

Upon carefully reviewing the card, Kim pointed out one of her pets, who made a cameo. 

‘Who remembers my cat Mercy??’ she asked of the little kitten, who could be seen under a table and a few flutes of champagne. 

While bringing Santa was common for them over the years, in the late Eighties, they spiced things up by posing with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, who rocked a festive hat and white beard. 

In the mid-1990s, after Caitlyn got a Harley for Christmas, the crew all wore leather jackets and posed by the motorcycle. 

Additionally, a sweet shot, from 1995, showed Caitlyn (pre-transition) holding baby Kendall ahead of her first Christmas.  

Hilariously, Kim caught a typo on an early Nineties card, which wrongly spelled Khloé’s name as Khloé. 

‘Khloé’s name spelled wrong wtf,’ she captioned the picture, which was previously pointed out by the throwback Instagram account @90sanxiety. 

The typo also caught Khloé’s eye earlier this month, who reposted on her Instagram Story with the caption: ‘Wait!! @90sanxiety just pointed out the typo in my name!!! So rude! The disrespect of it all lol.’
