Madonna, 63, splits from toyboy lover Ahlamalik Williams, 28, after three years together

Madonna has has called it quits with her much-younger boyfriend Ahlamalik Williams. 

The 63-year-old Queen of Pop dated her back-up dancer Williams, 28, for almost four years after first going public with their romance in 2019, but the pair have now gone their separate ways.

Alluding to the split via her Instagram page, Madonna shared a not-so-cryptic quote that read: ‘Karma said: when somebody in your life is not right for you… god will continuously use them to hurt you until you become strong enough to let them go.’ 

However, it wasn’t the 35-year-age gap between Madge and the dancer that caused issues according to reports, as the former couple are said to have grown apart during lockdown.

‘Madonna has thrown herself into a busy social life and has been seeing her friends and family after the split,’ a source claimed to The Sun.

‘She has a packed schedule, working on her upcoming biopic, new music and looking after her family.’ 

‘Things have been on and off with Ahlamalik for a while. There’s a lot of love but for now they have decided to separate,’ the source added.

News of their romance first became public in 2019 after appearing together on the Ray Of Light singer’s Instagram account.

However, Williams’ father Drue Williams also confirmed their relationship in 2019, and told TMZ that his son had been dating Madonna for more than a year.

‘Love has no age,’ his father said. ‘My son is livin’ la vida loca, and I’m just happy for him.’

The pair reportedly met when Williams danced for Madonna on her Rebel Heart tour in 2015. 

Meanwhile, The Sun’s source added of their split: ‘They are still on good terms and there are no hard feelings but they are at different places with their lives. They spent months together on tour and in lockdown, but now he has moved out of her home.

‘With them both working on other things, it was hard to keep their romance alight.
