‘Where is your iconic mole?’ Makeup-free Cindy Crawford looks completely unrecognisable as she plays with her ‘baby hairs’ while topless in a sauna

Earlier this month, she joked that her mini-me daughter Kaia Gerber, 21, had stolen her ‘old hair’ and she ‘wants it back.’

And on Friday, Cindy Crawford, 56, looked completely unrecognisable as she played with her ‘baby hairs’ while topless in a sauna.

The supermodel was make-up free for the selfie video, which she uploaded to Instagram, and appeared to be wondering what she’d look like with a fringe.

Cindy flicked forward the dark strands of hair framing her face, while showing off all angles of her face before pondering on the change.

Cindy captioned her upload: ‘Baby hairs in the sauna,’ and fans were quick to comment on how different she looked.

One follower wrote: ‘You look so different here,’ while another added: ‘Looks nothing like her.’

‘I didn’t know that was you until I [saw] your name name,’ admitted one Instagram user, as someone else commented: ‘Omg didn’t recognize you.’

Another fan asked: ‘Who is this in Cindy’s, post? A friend? Lover? Co worker?’ while one follower admitted: ‘I thought you were Julia Roberts.’

‘hello Cindy, where is ur iconic mole? that was ur supermodel identity,’ pointed out another baffled fan.

The video comes after the Nineties icon – who is still very much an influencer today – shared with InStyle that her model daughter Kaia Gerber ‘stole’ her lush locks.

Cindy said: ‘I look at my daughter and notice that her hair is shiny and healthy looking — she has my old hair, and I want it back!’

The brunette beauty – whose hair still looks cover girl fabulous – added that Gerber’s hair inspired her Age-Proof Hair Care System for her Meaningful Beauty line.

‘That became my new passion for Meaningful Beauty — to address not only my aging hair but to bring a solution to the market for the many other women out there experiencing these aging hair issues. And we did it,’ Crawford admitted.

‘Everyone tells you your skin will age, but no one tells you your hair will age too,’ Crawford shared with the fashion publication.

‘I think we all expect to get gray hair, but I wasn’t aware that the texture was going to change, it was going to become more brittle, it was going to shed more, and basically just be lackluster.’

Looking back, Cindy said: ‘Well — I loved ’90s hair — the bigger, the better. But all that back-combing wasn’t necessarily kind to one’s hair.

‘To this day, I still like a great blowout with a round brush and then Velcro rollers. It gives you some volume and soft, shiny waves — I call it the Madison Avenue blowout,’ she explained.
