Mariah Carey is reportedly ‘grateful’ after a group of men who allegedly robbed her nine-bedroom home in Atlanta, while she was on vacation, were arrested.

During one home invasion, allegedly involving the suspects, a man was shot.

On July 25, she took to the social media site with a post from the Hamptons hamlet of Water Mill, as she endorsed the real estate company Nestseekers for helping her with the rental.

She captioned the post: ‘Out East for the week, soaking it all in,’ as she sat in a chair at the home, which is called Eagles Point. The singer spent in excess of six figures for the two-week stint at the opulent property, Page Six reported.

The mom-of-two recently announced she would be taking part in the Global Citizen Festival, a free benefit concert in Central Park in New York that will also feature Metallica and The Jonas Brothers.

The Sept. 24 event will also feature a concert across the globe in Accra, Ghana, with Usher, SZA and H.E.R.

But the day will be less a celebration and more of a call to action to immediately address numerous international crises, Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans said.
