Meghan King insists she's 'not mad' her three children spent Halloween with estranged ex Jim Edmonds

The Real Housewives of Orange County guest star Meghan King was ‘so sad’ her estranged ex-husband Jim Edmonds didn’t send her any footage of their three children celebrating Halloween at his Missouri home.

The 37-year-old influencer – who boasts 1.4M social media followers – lamented on Tuesday from Texas: ‘Initially, I was really sad, really sad.’

But after Meghan’s friends treated her to a massage and complained about their ‘terrible’ Halloweens with their own children, she started to feel better.

‘And then I remembered, “Yeah, kids suck at holidays,”‘ King smiled.

‘[I had custody] the weekend before Halloween and I couldn’t even do all the activities with my kids in one weekend because they were losing their minds. They were tired and overstimulated and exhausted from their adrenaline rushing. I don’t think I’m mad about not having them for Halloween.’

The Intimate Knowledge podcaster continued: ‘I think we as moms, especially single moms, build [the holiday] up in our minds so much that we’re missing out on this tradition, this experience. 

‘When really we can make our own tradition. At the end of the day, like, holidays are a lot and to have that taken off our shoulder is really just kind of relaxing. Really, it’s kind of all about the picture until the kids are old enough.’

Later on Tuesday, Meghan was relieved to get her ‘babies back’ and ‘get them back into their routine right away’ while simultaneously promoting Halfsies Cookie Company via Instastory.
