Olivia Attwoo and Bradley Dack: A relationship timeline ahead of I'm A Celebrity

Olivia Attwood failed to find lasting romance when she first found fame on ITV‘s Love Island, but the star is now more loved-up than ever with husband-to-be Bradley Dack.

The former TOWIE star, 31, is set to make a splash Down Under this month as she is joining the likes of Boy George, Mike Tindall and Matt Hancock on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The show means Olivia could potentially be spending several weeks apart from fiancé Bradley, 28, after the couple have spent the last few years enduring wedding cancellations due to Covid and unexpected injuries.

Prior to her romance with Bradley, Olivia dated Chris Hughes after the pair met and found romance in the Love Island villa back in 2017 before they endured a tumultuous breakup.

As she prepares to come to grips with creepy crawlies – and her fellow celebrities – in the jungle, MailOnline is taking a look back at Olivia’s relationship timeline with Bradley – from the moment he got down on one knee to their most recent wedding cancellation.

HOW THEY FIRST MET

Olivia and Bradley originally began dating before she ever went looking for love in the Mallorcan villa. The pair met at a nightclub in the West End back in 2015 after being introduced through mutual friends.

They dated on and off for three months before the romance fizzled out and Olivia decided to go on Love Island – later confirming Bradley was the ex she spoke about in her introduction.

At the time, Bradley was already a footballer, playing for Gillingham Football Club where he was named as Young Player of the Season int he 2016-17 season.

GETTING BACK TOGETHER 

Olivia and Chris broke up in February 2018, less than a year after they reached the final of Love Island – and it wasn’t long before the star was back with Bradley.

The couple reunited at some point in early 2018 with The Sun previously reporting that Olivia pretending to be single at the time in order to take part in Celebs Go Dating.

A source said: ‘It’s one of the worst kept secrets in showbiz. She’s always been with him. Essentially she did it for a pay day.’ However, this was denied by the star’s pals.

THE DUBAI PROPOSAL

Olivia announced her engagement to Bradley in October 2019, sharing sweet snaps of the couple on a beach in Dubai after the footballer popped the question.

TV star Olivia dressed up for the occasion as she opted for bridal white in a lace gown, while her partner sported a black T-shirt with beige trousers.

Alongside the photos, she wrote: ‘He must be crazy… Here’s to forever. I love you BD.’ 

News of the engagement may have come as a surprise to fans at the time as the couple had briefly split up in April, with Olivia admitting she sometimes found it hard to trust him.

Olivia told new! magazine: ‘We row about little things, like house-related things. I’m very OCD and he’s very messy.

‘I’ve also got a long way to go with trust. That’s my own issue more than his. I don’t think you should trust any man 100 per cent.’

OLIVIA CANCELS WEDDING DUE TO COVID-19 

In October 2020, Olivia told of her ‘nightmare’ experience of having to cancel her weding, saying she had to completely change her plans after Covid disrupted her decision to get married in an idyllic ceremony abroad.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘It’s all been a bit of a nightmare with Covid, I had my heart set on a wedding abroad but we have scrapped that because I can’t travel to do venue reckies.’

The media personality revealed she was unable to quarantine upon their return to the UK from abroad due to filming, while her other half has football commitments with his team Blackburn Rovers.

Olivia admitted she has concerns that the UK venues she is currently looking at will get booked up soon due to the overspill from wedding cancellations this year.

The couple were also limited due to Bradley only having a month off during the football season.

Olivia explained that the couple hadn’t been rowing over the wedding as she has been left to make all the decisions about the day.

She said: ‘We aren’t falling out because there’s no discussion. I think he will just turn up on the day and I’ve made my peace with that now.’

OLIVIA CANCELS WEDDING AGAIN AFTER BRADLEY’S INJURY 

The tough times kept coming for Olivia and Bradley as they were forced to cancel their wedding yet again in 2021 due to Bradley sustaining an injury, along with their busy work schedules.

Speaking to MailOnline, Olivia said the wedding wouldn’t take place until 2023, explaining: ‘We’re not getting married next year. We have cancelled our wedding.

‘I made the final decision and I feel like Brad was more upset than me. A lot of the wedding stress lands on the woman typically… He said, “let’s just do it next year” and I said, “well you’re not the one that’s doing it”, I don’t want to do something and rush it. 

‘It’s complicated but essentially the main reasons are Brad is recovering from injury, when we were looking into booking more details for the wedding, the stag and the hen do, he didn’t want to book until he had three good football games. I thought, we couldn’t wait because Christmas will happen, then we will be in March and then it’ll be the wedding.

‘My work schedule is so heavy on my shoulders with filming, the brand. We are just going to buy ourselves another year. We are a strong couple, and we achieve a lot in our careers, and we want to enjoy getting married.’

OLIVIA’S ‘TOXIC’ RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIS HUGHES

Before she settled down with Bradley, Olivia thought her future was with fellow Love Islander Chris, with the pair making it to the final of the third series in 2017.

The former couple parted ways in February 2018 after months of relationship setbacks and crpytic social media posts that suggested all wasn’t well between them.

Olivia later told MailOnline her relationship with Chris was so ‘all consuming’ and ‘toxic’ that it pushed her back into Bradley’s arms.

She said: ‘Me and Brad were just lying in bed the other day and we thought how mad our journey has been. Obviously we had the breakup and everything was up in the air. 

‘I thought when I was in Love Island that was it. I was so done with him but then I ended up in another relationship that ended up being so toxic and all-consuming. 

‘And sometimes that’s what happens and it pushes you back to your ex. After that we needed a good year to find our footing as a couple again. I still wasn’t sure.

‘It was toxic with Chris and we argued a lot. I never had that problem with Brad, we never argued.’

She continued: ‘I was just incompatible with Chris. You meet on this show and things are very different in the real world. You think ‘oh s**t do we actually have stuff in common?’ It wasn’t meant to be.’
