Ozzy Osbourne has been out in promo mode ahead of the release of his 13th solo studio album, which is a great sign considering he just had major surgery last month.

And while the legendary rocker was happy to reveal details about the record, titled Patient Number 9 at Comic-Con in San Diego over the weekend, he was almost giddy when gushing over daughter Kelly Osbourne‘s pregnancy.

‘Kelly is big and she’s beautiful and I love it,’ Ozzy, 73, told Entertainment Tonight, before also revealing that his youngest daughter is now six months along in her pregnancy.

This will be the first child for both Kelly, 37, and her partner, Slipknot rocker Sid Wilson, 45, who confirmed their romance this past February after being friends for more than two decades.

As for Ozzy and wife Sharon Osbourne, they’re eager to meet what will be their fifth grandchild. In fact, the self-described Prince Of Darkness already picked out the first gift that he plans on giving to the little one.

‘The first thing that I’m gonna buy is a microphone,’ the proud grandfather shared.

Over the years, Kelly and Sid developed a friendship that dates back to the end of the 1990s. But as time went on their relationship slowly transformed into a romance.

‘After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up!’ the Fashion Police alum wrote in a February 2022 Instagram post.

Kelly would end up coming clean about her pregnancy by posting a photo of herself holding up a sonogram on Instagram on May 12.

‘I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why,’ she began, adding, ‘I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!’

Wilson, 45, also posted one of the sonogram images on his Instagram along with a number of emojis.

Just over two weeks after disclosing the news of her pending bundle of joy, Kelly celebrated one year of being clean and sober, where she again referenced the joy of being a mother soon.

‘What a difference a year can make!’ she gushed. ‘If you would have told me 365 days ago that I would be sober, happy, and about to be a mumma I would have laughed in your face. Life is truly amazing when you do the work. Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. I love you all so much!!!!!!!’

‘I like to see people, you know,’ Ozzy continued. ‘That’s been the hardest thing of the past three years, because I’ve been trying to recover from my surgery. I’m getting there. It’s a slow climb back, you know?’

Ozzy was joined by Todd McFarlane to reveal the artwork for their limited edition special and the McFarlane-designed Ozzy comic book that’ll accompany the purchase of his new album, Patient Number 9, which drops on September 9.
