Police are called to Katie Price and Carl Woods' home over 'domestic incident'

Police were called to Katie Price and Carl Woods‘ home over a ‘domestic incident’ on Monday night – following their split and claims that the model cheated on him. 

It has been reported that the pair had a row at the property at around 9pm and cops then arrived at the scene, according to The Sun. 

A source said former glamour model Katie, 44, ‘feared for the safety of her and her children’, – but no arrests were made. 

The insider told the publication: ‘Carl was furious after discovering texts from another man on Katie’s phone. He’s demanded Katie return her engagement ring but she’s having none of it, and hasn’t even apologised.

‘Things have been rocky between them for a long time, and Katie’s family don’t want him in her life. He’s been increasingly jealous ever since it was revealed she had been texting ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson from daughter Princess’s phone in March.’

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: ‘We responded to a report of a domestic incident. Officers attended to conduct a welfare check. Enquiries are ongoing and there is no further information at this stage.’ 

Sussex Police, Katie and Carl have all been contacted by MailOnline for further comment.  

It comes after on Tuesday Carl revealed he split from fiancée Katie after claiming he found out she had allegedly slept with someone else – and admitted to it.   

The car dealer, 34, took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning to make the claims and said their rocky relationship of two years is now done. 

He said: ‘There is no easy way to say this and it’s quite embarrassing to be honest. I found out yesterday Katie cheated on me. 

‘She’s admitted cheating on me. So yeah, that’s the end of that I guess. I’m just going to have to focus on rebuilding myself and get my life back on track and concentrate on me. But that’s done.’ 

A spokesperson for Katie Price declined to comment to MailOnline. It is not known who Carl is accusing Katie of cheating on him with. 

In addition Carl has now unfollowed the star on social media, while Katie has now  deleted all traces of him from her Instagram. 

Katie and Carl got engaged in April 2021 following a whirlwind 10-month romance and had openly been trying for a baby.

They recently returned from a romantic trip to Thailand together and hinting that all was well, she wrote on one of Carl’s Instagram posts of himself: ‘Fit.’

The couple have been marred by constant drama and split claims throughout their relationship.

A new report in OK! magazine claimed this week that the couple were set to ‘call off their wedding.

According to the publication, their close friends fear their relationship is coming to an end after a series of ‘small and petty rows’.

A source told OK: ‘A lot of drama that has happened between Katie and Carl seems to have been brushed under the carpet, but their relationship doesn’t seem that strong at the moment and friends think it could be over soon.’

In June, Carl has said he was ‘relieved’ after his charge of threatening behaviour was dropped by investigators.

He was charged following a highly-publicised a row with Price in August the year before.

Colchester Magistrates Court was told he had attempted to ‘force his way into a house after a row with Katie in the street,’ The Sun reported at the time.

Carl previously pleaded not guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

He had been charged under Section 4 of the Public Order Act following an incident at his home in Little Canfield, Essex last year.

At a hearing in March, magistrates were told the charge followed a row that spilled over into the street, disturbing neighbours.

At one stage Woods was allegedly seen trying to force open a door, the court heard.

The male model attended court hand-in-hand with Price, after the pair returned from a holiday to Thailand.

He had been due to stand trial but itthe case had been abandoned, due to no realistic prospect of conviction.

A source said at the time: ‘Carl is relieved to finally have his name cleared. The case really put huge amounts of pressure on him.

‘Those close to Carl continued to support him throughout the process and everyone is relieved to hear the news.’ 

There was more drama when Carl had to care for Katie when a freak accident in Turkey last year left her with broken feet.

The former model had to undergo an eight-hour operation and use a wheelchair for several months as she began to recover from the life-changing injuries.

Carl is Katie’s eighth fiancé and she has been married three times. 

Speaking to OK Magazine about her engagement to Carl at the time, Katie said: ‘It’s refreshing to be with a man that if I decided I never wanted to work again, he’d look after me, I just love him. 

‘We’d spoken about it a lot, so I knew he was going to, I just didn’t know when. It was amazing. Carl asked my mum and dad for permission – and Junior. With Carl, Mum’s already told him not to mess me around and so far he’s passed the t****r test.’

Katie had added that Carl isn’t interested in her fame ‘or anything to do with’ her alter-ego Jordan and has his own money. 

The model was famously married to Peter Andre from 2005 to 2009 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Admitting she was on the ‘rebound’ Katie started dating cage fighter Alex Reid a mere eight weeks later. The pair were married from 2010 to 2012 before their acrimonious split.

She then wed the father of her two youngest children, Kieran, in 2013 after a whirlwind romance and their 2017 split – once again bitter – came amid allegations of new infidelities, three years after she caught him sleeping with her best friends Jane Poutney and Chrissy Thomas. Their divorce was not finalised, however, until 2021. 

Katie has made no secret of her desire to marry Carl and, when her divorce for third husband Kieran, 34, was announced the month before, she told The Sun: ‘Finally, we’ve signed the divorce papers. I’m so happy that I’m free from that marriage. The only good thing that came out of it was my children.

‘I can now continue my life with all the badness behind me. All I can do is wish him luck. I can’t wait to continue my life with Carl.’

Katie is mum to son Harvey, 20, whose father is Dwight Yorke, Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, from her previous marriage to Peter Andre, and son Jett, nine, and daughter Bunny, eight, from her marriage with her third ex-husband Kieran. 

In August, Katie claimed her relationship with Carl was still going strong after ‘a hacker’ told fans they split on her social media.

The former glamour model told fans her TikTok account had been hacked, after it replied to a fan’s comment confirming her romance with Carl was over. Commenting under a video Katie posted of her son Harvey in a van, a follower said: ‘you still with Karl’ [sic], Katie simply responded with: ‘No’.

She later claimed: ‘My account was hacked! I want to confirm I’m still with my fiancé Carl Woods!’ 

In July, it was claimed Katie had told strangers she was single. An onlooker said: ‘Katie was letting her hair down and telling people that her engagement with Carl was over.

‘She said that the couple had been rowing non-stop on holiday and things had come to blows with her deciding to call it a day when they returned home.’

Yet Carl quickly took to social media to claim it was all made up at the time. 

He launched into a furious rant, where he denied he and Katie Price have split up.

Carl raged that he was on the ‘frontline’ and therefore deserving of recognition.

He began: ‘All of you are full of s**t.’

Panning the camera round to show Katie, he continued: ‘Look, here she is. I’m still at the f**king house. All this, ‘Oh we want her shot of him’. Why don’t you all just f**k off?’

He went on to argue he was the best guy she’d ever been with and that he ‘supported this woman through everything’.

Carl raged: ‘Because you know something, you wanna know the truth? I’m the best f**king fella she’s ever had. And I’m the one that suffers the s**t, no one else.’

‘So all this, ‘Oh he’s a bad person, he’s this he’s that, he needs to go…’ F**k off everyone because you’re full of s**t. I’m the one that’s on the frontline, I suffer the s**t and I’m the one that helps her, no one else.

‘I support this woman through everything. I’m the one that gets the flack, no one else.

‘So no, we haven’t broke up, I’m still at her house s f**k off with your b******t because you know nothing and you pretend.’

He continued: ‘I’m tired, I’m absolutely tired of being tarnished to be this bad person – and yes I am ranting, because you know what? I’ve suffered months and months and months with it… ‘Oh she’s unhappy with him, she’s unhappy with him’.

He then moved the camera to show Harvey and Katie again, before finishing by saying: ‘I deserve some recognition for everything that I do. Nobody sees behind the scenes. I deserve some recognition and I get nothing.’

Katie faced more personal woes after she pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order against her ex-partner Kieran’s fiancée Michelle Penticost. 

The former glamour model was arrested by police after she allegedly sent a ‘vile and nasty’ message to Mr Hayler about Miss Penticost on January 21.

The message read: ‘Tell your c****** whore piece of s*** girlfriend not to start on me.

‘She has a restraining order so shouldn’t try antagonise me as she is in breach and I’m sure she doesn’t want people knowing that she was having an affair with you behind my back. That gutter sl*g.’

Price was handed a five-year restraining order on June 3, 2019 banning her from contacting Miss Penticost directly or indirectly but she avoided jail. 

In October 2019, Katie was given a two-year disqualification after withholding the identity of the driver of her pink Range Rover during a crash in Bexley, South East London, the year before.

She got it reduced to 18 months on appeal, but it was extended for six more months due to getting another speeding offence.

Then in September 2021, Katie crashed her BMW on a country road while under the influence, without insurance and while still disqualified.

Three months after that, she avoided jail and was given a 16-week jail sentence, which was suspended for 12 months.

Her engagement to Carl was briefly called off last year following claims she sent flirty messages to ex Kris Boyson from her daughter Princess’s Instagram profile.
