Melissa Gorga politely declined a late offer by Teresa Giudice to be a bridesmaid in her wedding on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey on Bravo.

The season 13 episode opened with Melissa, 43, and Teresa, 50, continuing their argument at the mozzarella party over seating arrangements at the engagement party.

Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga, 43, and her sister-in-law Melissa felt snubbed after being seated at a separate table away from the bride-to-be, her fiancé Luis ‘Louie’ Ruelas, 47, and his family at the engagement party.

‘I’m just going by what’s in my heart. I just felt like you weren’t rooting for Louie and I,’ Teresa told Melissa.

‘Really? Nobody opened their arms more than Joe and I did to Louie, just so you know,’ Melissa said.

She added: ‘I wanna see your f***ing happy ending. I’ve been here to see everything. I wanna see that. Always. I swear. I mean that.’

‘I feel that,’ Teresa said.

‘I’m good with the engagement party,’ said Melissa who earlier challenged Teresa’s version of seating arrangements.

‘What I wasn’t good with was if I looked like a liar, so that I had to correct. And I’m fine not being in the wedding,’ Melissa added.

Teresa took it in stride and extended a late invitation for Melissa to join her bridal party.

‘No, listen. I mean, do you want to be in the wedding? I mean, if you would love to be a bridesmaid,’ Teresa said.

‘Well, why are you acting like you’re doing me a favor?,’ Melissa asked.

‘I would love for you to be a bridesmaid in my wedding. I’m being for real,’ Teresa said.

‘I would never go back. It’s like an ex boyfriend saying, ‘I f***ed up. I want you back.’ No, you can’t f***ing have me back,’ Melissa said with a good-natured laugh.

She added: ‘I’m OK with not being in it. I’m really OK. I swear.’

‘Ok. Thank you. I love you,’ Teresa said before they hugged it out.

‘Oh, my God. Finally,’ Teresa sighed.

‘Last time I wanna talk about any of it. It’s fine,’ Melissa said as their embrace ended.

Teresa was shown later at her house with her daughter Gia, 21, discussing the mozzarella party drama with Melissa.

‘It’s just sad that she has to try to make up this lie to make you look bad,’ Gia said.

Gia also was critical of Teresa asking Melissa to be in the wedding party.

‘I wished you never asked her that because not for nothing, you’re still upset with the fact that like she said she was there for us,’ Gia said alluding to Melissa’s comments in her May 2022 podcast about the time Teresa was serving her prison sentence.

Melissa in the podcast mentioned that Teresa’s ex-husband Joe wasn’t ‘working at all’ and revealed they provided support.

‘The only times we really saw them was when we were on camera together,’ Gia said in a confessional. ‘I really can’t remember any other time when I saw them.’

Teresa’s daughter Gabriella, 17, joined the talk and asked why her godmother Melissa made the comments on her podcast.

Gia said to ‘look like a good aunt’ while Louie answered to gain ‘attention’.

Quiet and typically drama-free Gabriella opened up that she was hurt by it.

‘It’s hurtful that someone says that just because that was, like, about five years of my life. It was a sensitive time. And especially when it’s not true,’ Gabriella said of the time when her parents were incarcerated separately.

‘You remember. And credit shouldn’t be given where it’s not earned. That directly affects me. Directly, so it’s something I take to heart,’ Gabriella said.

‘Oh, my God. Look at her neck. She’s, like breaking out in hives,’ Teresa said as the family drama took a physical toll on Gabriella.

‘I know. I think you’re, like, stressed right now,’ Gia said.

Louie then vocalized his opinions.

‘It is sad, it’s disgusting,’ he chimed in.

‘I’m so sorry that you’re treated this way and I cannot take watching this man be like this and act like, Dude, you don’t think I see you? I see you a mile away,’ Louie said referencing his future brother-in-law Joe.

Joe and Melissa meanwhile were shocked to learn that none of Melissa’s family members were invited to Teresa’s wedding.

‘My mother-in–law and my sister-in-law, they’ve been in our lives for 20 years. You know, so she is making a statement. Like, you mean nothing to me,’ Joe said in a confessional.

They noted that Melissa’s mother Donna Marco was close over the years with Teresa and Joe’s late father Giacinto Gorga.

Joe also pointed out that he invited Joe Giudice’s family to his wedding because it’s the ‘right thing to do.’

‘Louie hasn’t done a f***ing thing to help the situation. He’s made it worse!,’ Joe added.

Joe said he intended to let Louie know that he didn’t like this ‘bulls***’ at an upcoming guys’ night outing.

Bill Aydin, 49, at the guys’ night acknowledged his friendship with Louie.

‘I love Louie. I’m the brother-in-law he doesn’t have,’ Bill quipped.

He then asked Joe why he couldn’t be a ‘little nicer’ to Louie.

Joe explained that he and Melissa welcomed Louie with open arms and he just found out that his mother-in-law and sister-in-law were not invited to the wedding.

‘It’s like a slap in the face,’ Joe said.

‘I just want him to know, ”You’re a piece of shit, you’re garbage”,’ Joe continued as Louie arrived.

Joe quickly went after Louie for not inviting Melissa’s family and Louie said it was due to ‘a lot of past bulls***.’

Everyone agreed that it was wrong not to invite them to an Italian wedding and it was a ‘slap in the face’.

Louie said there was a slot of slapping in the face going around and brought up Melissa’s podcast.

Joe told him to be quiet and they started cussing each other out.

‘I’m so above you, it’s not even funny!,’ Louie said.

‘I’m gonna break your f***ing balls!,’ Joe yelled as he slammed a fist on the table.

‘Stop with the theatrics!,’ Louie shouted.

Joe admitted he was hurt by Teresa’s recent actions and Louie suggested that Joe and Teresa should talk.

In a confessional, Joe sounded skeptical about talking to Teresa.

‘Where are we gonna go? As soon as we sit down, she’s gonna bring up, ‘Well you didn’t defend Louie,” Joe said.

‘That’s what Teresa does. She does not move forward. In my heart I know the way she really feels, so I just don’t wanna waste my time anymore,’ he added

Louie insisted they should speak and end their feuding.

‘I’m gonna think about it,’ Joe told him.

The Real Housewives Of New Jersey will return next week on Bravo.
