Ryan Thomas has shared a cryptic post about ‘judging’ others after he was pictured ‘cuddling and nuzzling’ the neck of EastEnders star Zaraah Abrahams.

The former Coronation Street actor, 38, who is engaged to Lucy Mecklenburgh, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to break his silence on the incident.

He shared a video of motivational speaker Albaner C. Eugene Jr. who spoke about not judging others and drawing your own conclusions.

In the clip, he said: ‘Before you judge, before you critique, before you draw your conclusions about anyone’s life, about what anybody did, about what you feel is going on in the world, remember you feel as, remember you only know what you think you know.’

Ryan starred alongside Zaraah in the ITV soap when she was a member of the cast between 2005 and 2007.

He was seen embracing the married 35-year-old actress, with whom he is close friends, in images taken at Thursday’s National Television Awards after-party and obtained by The Sun.

An onlooker claimed the pair – who played Jason Grimshaw and Joanne Jackson on Corrie – got on ‘like a house on fire’ as they caught up at the swanky event.

They said: ‘Ryan was inviting Zaraah to come to his house with her family. They were laughing together, and he was looking at something on her phone.

‘Then he pulled her in for an affectionate cuddle. The drinks had been flowing all night, and he was obviously caught up in the moment.

‘Afterwards they were laughing together again. It was clear they had known each other for some time, as Ryan was heard telling her, ‘You know me so well.’ He then went on to tell her, ‘You know what I’m like.’ It was all very playful.’

Zaraah’s spokesperson told The Sun: ‘Zaraah and Ryan have been good mates for over 20 years and were just catching up as they haven’t seen each other for quite some time. It’s nothing more than that.’

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Ryan and Zaraah for further comment.

Lucy and Ryan are proud parents to son Roman, two, and daughter Lilah, four months.

Ryan is also father to daughter Scarlett, 13, from his relationship with former Coronation Street co-star Tina O’Brien, 39.

Roman was hospitalised earlier this month during a family break in Carlisle.

The actor shared a photo of the toddler in an A&E cot, telling his Instagram followers that they had ‘unfortunately been in this situation many times before’.

Last month, Lucy was in hospital with the couple’s eldest child as he battled a virus.

Ryan shared a black and white photo of Roman resting in his hospital cot, writing: ‘Me and my little man have unfortunately been in this situation many times before.

‘But this weekend we spent 24 hours in hospital away from home – but wanted to say a massive thank you to all the doctors and nurses at The Cumberland Infirmary for the hard work and dedication in making sure we get the best care possible.

‘Me and my boy are home safe because of you. We are truly grateful.’
