Stacey Solomon joked that her slicked back high bun makes her look like Matilda The Musical nemesis Mrs. Trunchbull on Sunday.
Taking to Instagram, the television star, 33, revealed she had scraped her hair back into the style, which she called ‘newborn fresh’, after being inspired by former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague.
But it was not quite what she was expecting, and she quipped that she looked more like she was going to shove her newborn baby Belle, who is two weeks old, into the chokee like Mrs Trunchbull- a reference to the popular Roald Dahl adaptation.
She asked Molly-Mae for hairstyle advice, urging her to do a tutorial on the look.
The star, who also shares Rose, 16 months, and Rex, two, with husband Joe Swash, 41, told her followers: ‘I just need to know the answer to this because its bugging me.

Stacey, who also has Zach, 14, and Leighton, nine, from previous relationships, added: ‘I thought I would scrape my hair back in a bun today because I keep seeing people doing it.
‘I’ve seen Molly-Mae do it and she looks so beautiful. I call it newborn fresh, like you’ve got a newborn so you just scrape your hair back, chuck it in a bun and you just look really pretty and natural and it pulls all your face back.
‘Why when I do it do I look like Miss Trunchbull, why? Why don’t I look newborn fresh like Molly?
‘I look like I’m going to shove my newborn into the chokee. Why doesn’t it suit me? Is it my face? I just need to know.’
Her followers were quick to offer her advice and she shared some of their tips on another slide.
She concluded that the style did not work because she actually needs to wash her hair, as one follower suggested.
It comes after Stacey hit back at a troll on Saturday who reprimanded her for having long nails – after becoming a mum for the fifth time.
The television star had decided to treat herself by getting her nails done.

Stacey took to her Instagram Stories to reveal that a troll had messaged her on the social media site to say: ‘Very impractical nails for a newborn’, hitting out at her choice to have long nails while looking after Belle.
But the star answered the mum shamer by saying: ‘Have a day off Wilma. it’ll be OK I promise.
The star added: Well I think they’re really practical. ‘They’re great for tickles and head strokes. Belle is loving them.’
She then quipped: ‘This one is really good for picking out bogies. Will I end up with poo underneath them everyday?
‘Probably, but I’ve got a nail brush and wash my hands. ‘It’ll be fine.’
It comes after Stacey shared a sweet snap of her three youngest children as she enjoyed a family day with them on Friday.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the presenter revealed that husband Joe was in Wales for work and her other children, Zach and Leighton were at school.

She shared that it was just her, baby Belle, Rose and Rex, who she shares with Joe, at home and she was enjoying quality time with them.
Stacey wrote: ‘Joes in Wales for work so its just me and these three amigos today.
‘Their matching pyjamas make me cry. I got them from a small business too @swans_and_bluebells.’
It comes after Stacey described the first couple of weeks with Belle as ‘the most special’ as she shared a post to Instagram on Tuesday.
The TV personality posted a sweet snap of her little one as she lay on her knees and gazed up into the camera.
Explaining that Belle is beginning to open her eyes more and look around this week, the star took advantage of spending quality time together.
Underneath the post, many followers also pointed out how much the new arrival looks like her dad Joe in the pictures.
Matching outfits, baby Belle was dressed in a dusty pink baby grow while mum Stacey sported a co-ordinating pink loungewear set.
The little one held onto her mum’s thumb, with her bright blue eyes the centre of the snap.

As others dubbed her ‘daddy’s double’, while one jested there was ‘no denying’ who her father is.
Joe is also a father to son Harry, 15, who he shares with his ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous.
And the day alone with her girls come as the boys have headed back to school following half-term holidays.

In a video, Stacey wrapped a dark grey sling around her body before placing Belle inside, close to her chest.
Stacey penned: ‘So it’s the last day of half term before they’re back to school so we went for a nice long walk this morning.
‘This is my first time I’ve ever tried using a sling so if I’m doing it wrong please just message some helpful tips.
‘Don’t shout at me. Belle loved it in here and it was so nice to have her close to me.’
