Jordan Mailata and Arryn Siposs made history on Sunday by becoming the first Australians to play together at the Super Bowl.

Despite coming from separate footy codes – Mailata from NRL and Siposs from AFL – the players have joined forces to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in their showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Instagram photos from the proposal show Bankstown-born Jordan getting down on bended knee as the lovebirds stood in front of a lavish floral display.

‘Went off the market at the market,’ Niki joked in her caption.
