- The rapper was attacked in an LA Fitness gym in Miami on Tuesday night
- His attorney says he tried to fight back but was outnumbered by his attackers
- He was labeled a snitch in 2018 after testifying against gang members
The artist was beaten ‘to a pulp’ in the ambush, his attorney Lance Lazzaro told TMZ.
He did not have security on hand at the time, but did his best to defend himself.
It’s unclear what prompted the attack; in 2018, he was labeled a ‘snitch’ after testifying for prosecutors against the likes of the Bloods gang and Cardi B.
He’d cut a deal to lessen his own sentence after being charged with an array of crimes, and was given a four-year probation sentence.
He had faced a 47-year minimum sentence and maximum of life in prison in the case.

Despite his past legal troubles, the rapper has done little to keep a low profile.
Last month, he was seen in an Instagram post in which he showed off a metal case containing stacks of cash.
On Friday, he was thrown out of Miami’s LoanDepot Park as he created a scene while ‘heavily intoxicated,’ a source told Page Six.
‘He was heavily intoxicated and interrupting other guests’ experience,’ the source said. ‘He was drunk, he was inebriated and he was out of control. There were a lot of families there last night and he was bothering people.’
He had attended the World Baseball Classic ballgame between Puerto Rico and Mexico.
In August of 2022, his longtime girlfriend Rachel Wattley was arrested in Miami after she punched him several times at the nightclub Kiki by the River.
