The Block: Sharon and Ankur face another blow over 'uneven' plastering

The Block’s Sharon Johal and Ankur Dogra have had a shocking time so far on the show and are set to face yet another blow this week.

In a trailer for Tuesday’s episode, foreman Dan Reilly suggests removing the entire ceiling of the couple’s living space due to an uneven plastering job.

In the promo, a voiceover declares: ‘The buyers are on their way but Sharon and Ankur are about to hit the roof.’

‘Our plastering was stuffed,’ Sharon says.

Foreman Keith Schleiger is then heard saying on the phone: ‘It all needs to be straight.’

‘I actually think this whole ceiling needs to be pulled down,’ Dan suggests.

It comes after Sharon and Ankur lashed out at Scott Cam’s decision to freeze their spending.

Scott made the drastic move last week to prevent them from further blowing out their budget.

The couple clashed with the host on Sunday after he told them they were already $53,000 over budget and then scolded Ankur for not keeping things under control.

‘You’re an accountant. I can’t understand this,’ a frustrated Scott said.

‘I actually think this whole ceiling needs to be pulled down,’ Dan said

‘This is a personal attack, bringing my career into it,’ Ankur replied.

An equally upset Sharon, 34, said she was shocked by Scott’s ‘harsh’ decision.

‘I knew we were in s**t with the budget but I was blindsided by the action and how swift and harsh it was,’ she said.
