According to the TV star, they did not want him or his crew in French waters after they completed 53km of the swim.

It comes after Tommy exposed his bare bottom during an interview on The Sunday Project a week ago.
The stand-up star told host Hamish MacDonald he didn’t even own a pair of speedos before swimming training.
‘I didn’t have the c**k confidence to wear speedos in public,’ Tommy said.
He continued: ‘But now I’ve been wearing speedos non-stop, even when I’m not swimming, do you want to see my speedo tan?’
Tommy then stood up and pulled down his jeans to reveal his tan line from wearing the skimpy swimmers.
Tommy went on to admit he is afraid of getting sea sick during the swim, calling the North Sea swells his biggest fear.

He shared the news to Instagram alongside an image of himself throwing up the peace sign before sharing a card congratulating him on the qualification.
‘Four hours and 10.9 kilometres later and this breathless idiot has officially qualified for the 1st ever UK to Belgium swim!’ Tommy wrote.
The comic then shared the back of the ticket which offered a heartfelt congratulations from English Channel Queen, Chloe McCardel.
